The British Society of Medical Secretaries (BSMS) is a professional body dedicated to serving the needs of medical secretaries - in hospitals, general practice, private practice, pharmaceutical companies and agencies UK-wide and beyond. The BSMS is devoted to improving the standing of medical secretaries so that we are recognised as members of a paramedical discipline in our own right. We encourage communication between medical secretaries at both a social and professional level through national and regional meetings and our quarterly Journal.
